Curtis Beaird
Curtis is originally from Big Spring, Texas, the home of Western Swing cowboy Bob Wills. Curtis holds three degrees from Texas educational institutions. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, a Masters of Divinity and a Doctorate of Ministry from Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. He pastored Southern Baptist churches for twenty years in Louisiana and Texas. While he was pastoring in Texas and after he went to the Southern Baptist university system, he served on the Editorial Board of Contributors for the Waco Herald-Tribune for fifteen years.
In 1988, he authored "Discovering Joshua", a book published by Guidepost in a series that sold a million copies.
Norma Beaird
Norma Beaird is originally from Augusta, Georgia (Home of the Masters Golf Tournament). She is a graduate of Augusta Technical College where she studied in Business Education. In addition, she is a graduate of Augusta State University with an Associate Degree in Applied Science. While living in Augusta, she owned and operated The Wright Travel Group, a group travel business. Norma planned and escorted tours that sent clients on excursions to events such as Bill Gaither Concerts, Promise Keeper Conventions, Middle School Trips and Church Tours. Group travel was her specialty and she enjoyed working with people of all ages. She negotiated with motor coach companies, hotels and restaurants and escorted the majority of her tours. During off-seasons, she worked with various travel agencies in the Augusta area and arranged trips and tours for their clientele.
